2. Google User Data Access

GClient accesses Gmail data through Google’s secure authorization system using the Gmail API.

When you connect your Google account, the application may request permission to access:

• Email messages

• Email metadata (sender, recipient, subject, timestamps)

• Email content required for summarization and reply generation

• Permission to send emails on your behalf

Access is granted only after you explicitly approve these permissions through Google’s OAuth consent process.

3. How We Use Google User Data

GClient uses Gmail data strictly to provide core features of the application, including:

• Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing features within the application.

• Google user data is not sold to third parties.

• Google user data is not used for advertising purposes.

• Google user data is not used to build user profiles unrelated to the app’s functionality.

• Google user data is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide the service and in compliance with Google’s policies.

5. AI Processing

GClient provides AI-powered features including:

• Email summarization

• Suggested replies

• Email drafting assistance

To provide these features, relevant portions of email content may be processed by GClient’s internally developed and hosted AI models.

These models are:

• Developed and maintained by the GClient team

• Hosted on infrastructure controlled by GClient

• Not provided or exposed to third-party AI providers

Email content is processed only for the purpose of generating summaries, suggestions, or drafts requested by the user.

User email data is not sold, shared, or used for advertising, and it is not used to train AI models in a way that identifies individual users.

6. Data Storage

GClient is designed to minimize storage of user data.

• Emails are retrieved from Gmail when required through the Gmail API.

• Email content may be temporarily processed to generate summaries or suggestions.

• OAuth authentication tokens may be stored securely to maintain login sessions.

GClient does not permanently store Gmail email content on its servers unless required for temporary processing necessary to deliver the service.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect user data, including:

• Secure OAuth authentication through Google

• Encrypted communication with APIs

• Secure storage of authentication tokens

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Third-Party Services

GClient uses limited third-party services necessary to operate the application.

GClient does not share Gmail email content with third-party AI providers or analytics services.

All AI processing for summaries, replies, and drafting is performed using GClient’s internally hosted AI systems.

9. User Control

Users maintain full control over their Google account connection.

You may revoke GClient’s access to your Gmail account at any time through your Google Account permissions page.

Once access is revoked, GClient will no longer be able to access your Gmail data.

10. Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of any stored data related to their use of GClient by contacting us.

Because GClient does not permanently store Gmail email content, most data is automatically removed once access to the Google account is revoked.

11. Children’s Privacy

GClient is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes occur, the updated version will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the application after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
